Lacoste swaps out its iconic crocodile branding for endangered species

See ya later, alligator.
The crocodile has given up its beloved spot on the Lacoste polo, in favour of endangered species from around the world.
To raise awareness for conservation programs, Lacoste teamed up with the International Union for Conservation of Nature for a range of limited-edition polos.
The ‘Save Our Species’ initiative included lizards, monkeys, iguanas and more, with the number of polos produced corresponding to the remaining population sizes in the wild.
While the 1,775 polos sold out super quickly, proceeds from the collaboration went towards the survival of 10 threatened species.
Australia missed out on the range this time around, but fingers crossed there’s a round two.
