Bringing the romance.

When you receive an invite to a runway at a 60 million dollar Gothic Revival mansion, naturally you politely accept. And when said runway is hosted by macgraw, you know it’s going to be a goodie.

Unsurprisingly, historical references were aplenty, with bodices and sleeves carrying strong Victorian gothic influences.

Ruffled shirts and flowing hemlines gave us some serious Picnic at Hanging rock vibes, while precisely tailored pants and jackets in luxe satins added depth and dimension to the label’s Resort ’19 collection.

Our picks of the bunch were the gold lace pieces (looks 2, 4, 6, 10 and 11), which were even more dazzling in the morning sun.
