Adds everything to cart.

Marc Jacobs has dropped the first collection from his new clothing line, The Marc Jacobs.

The ready-to-wear line includes apparel, bags, shoes, jewellery, accessories and more. The Marc Jacobs will “celebrate the eclectic and individual approach to getting dressed,” Jacobs said in a press release.

Drawing bold references from music, art and pop-culture, Jacobs has created an eye-catching collection which is easy to wear and accessorise.

“These items are things that you could put together in your own way; it’s more about personal styling than about having a full runway look,” he said.

With bold colours, strong tailoring and retro designs, the new line aims to target a wider audience. From a sequin cocktail dress to a striped oversized knit, it’s clear there’s something for everyone, along with abundant opportunities to mix and match pieces.

The line also comes available at a broader price bracket, for wider accessibility. The plan is for everyone to be able to afford the pieces, while “still keeping the integrity of pieces at the forefront.” In saying that, prices range from $500 to $2,000. Maybe lower the prices a little more for the people at the back, Jacobs.

The Marc Jacobs is available in Marc Jacob stores, select department stores and online now.
