Australian label Mountain and Moon aims to put its own spin on standout jewellery through bold designs that transcend different cultures and eras.

Each piece is crafted by artisans in Rajasthan, India, an area which also serves as inspiration for a majority of the brand’s collections.

The diverse and often unexpected ranges have an underlying sense of adventure, relying on a philosophy of maximalism.

Oversized gold designs are accented with bright pops of colour such as a blood-red heart or green gem fish eye.

Plus, the label is committed to making only a positive impact on the world. As well as working with waste-free processes, Mountain and Moon is partnered with the Saheli Women’s Foundation.

The organisation aims to create employment opportunities for women in Rajasthan’s rural villages, while also providing education, health services and aid to the wider community.
