MUJI drops a linen collection, officially has our hearts
Words by Maeve Kerr-Crowley
All hail linen.
If you needed another reason to visit the minimalist haven that is MUJI, the Japanese retailer has given you one. It has introduced a new product line created from our hands-down favourite fabric of the season, linen.
As with all things MUJI, the range has a strong focus on quality. Most of the products within the line – including both fashion and homewares – are made from 100 per cent pure linen. Most of the flax used is also grown without any artificial fertilizers or pesticides, nasties that can carry over to the final product.
The collection delivers for men and women, spanning staples such as cardigans, collared shirts and comfy trousers. Prices vary between $44.95 to $119.95.
It also features a selection of household goods, from cushiony slippers at $19.95 to soft linen bedsheets at $79.95.
You can check out the range in-store, including the recently-opened MUJI Chadstone, the brand’s largest Australian space to date.
