We finally have a look at Raf Simons’ first collection for Calvin Klein
A new model.
Raf Simons’ first collection as chief creative officer for Calvin Klein dropped overnight – but you’d be forgiven for not having heard anything about it.
Calvin Klein by Appointment, a bespoke collection featuring fourteen styles, was shared quietly online last night without any official announcement by the label.
A made to measure collection, Calvin Klein by Appointment is the first time Calvin Klein couture will be made available to the public. Previously, it was reserved for celebrities.
The new model will introduce open bookings with CK’s NYC atelier from April, giving us normies the chance to own a piece of Calvin Klein couture. Pending finance, of course.
The campaign sees the likes of Abbey Lee Kershaw and Stranger Things star, Millie Bobby Brown, model a texture-focused collection. Think beaded fringes, tulle gowns and delicate feather dresses.
If this line proves one thing, it’s that getting Simons on board was nothing short of genius.
We’ll see the next collection from Simons on February 10, when Calvin Klein’s ready-to-wear line hits the runway.
