Making strides.
Nike has taken a step towards inclusivity by diversifying the mannequins on show at its flagship London store.
Both plus-size and para-sport mannequins have been introduced to the store’s redeveloped womenswear level.
The brand launched its extended size range back in 2017, and has since collaborated with a number of plus-size women while showcasing it – including influencers Grace Victory and Chloe Elliot, and model Paloma Elsesser.
But this is the first time this change has been reflected in brick-and-mortar merchandising.
While these diverse mannequins are currently only featured in the one store, we’re hoping Nike spreads the positivity to all its locations across the world.
