Rihanna is launching a luxury fashion house with LVMH

Truly unstoppable.

While we’ve had a constant stream of lingerie and beauty products from the Fenty empire of late, we haven’t had a clothing drop from Rihanna since her Fenty Puma collection early last year.

But now, RiRi looks set to launch her next fashion venture, and she’s doing it with the backing of the world’s largest luxury group.

According to WWD, LVMH and Rihanna are in discussions to launch a new luxury fashion house. Should plans move ahead (they sound very likely), it will be the first time since 1987 that LVMH has launched a brand from scratch.

Sources have said the group has already selected a handful of employees from Louis Vuitton and Celine to work on the project with Rihanna and her key associates.

The news comes after badgal stepped out during the week in Fenty branded sunglasses, sparking rumours that she was launching an eyewear line.

As per WWD’s report, the new brand will span ready-to-wear, leather goods and accessories. There’s also speculation that it may launch alongside the artist’s ninth album, due out this year.
