Karl Lagerfeld’s cat releases a ‘RIP Daddy’ clothing collection

If you were concerned about the wellbeing of Karl Lagerfeld’s cat following his passing last month, fear not. Choupette is doing just fine.
Not wasting a moment of her time in the spotlight, the cat (or the person behind her Instagram account) has released a collection in memory of her father.
Aptly titled #RIPDaddy, the collection includes tees, mugs, iPhone cases and diaries featuring illustrations of Choupette by Monica Smiley (who also created Choupette’s logo on Instagram).
The drawings depict Choupette wearing a veil, along with Karl’s trademark necktie and sunglasses. ‘R.I.P Daddy’ is also plastered across each design.
According to the website, a ‘select portion’ of proceeds will benefit the Helen Woodward Animal Center in the US, which makes the whole collection seem slightly less weird.
