Song For The Mute reveals its new Fall/Winter collection

Words by Maeve Kerr-Crowley

Song For The Mute has well and truly expanded its reach in the six months since its last collection and, ahem, total rebrand.

Having launched a debut line in Barney’s New York and collaborated with DJ Sven Väth, the brand is now bringing us a second 2019 release.

Dubbed 19.2 Hunter, the Fall/Winter collection explores sensory experiences and the ways people can connect with the world around them.

A nature-inspired palette appears across a huge range of textiles including cotton, corduroy, denim, velvet and parachute fabrics.

The new range introduces utilitarian influences in its silhouettes, while still keeping a sense of classic tailoring. Think tailored pants and blazers complemented by military-inspired gun-metal detailing.

A collaborative release of three hats and two bags by Song For The Mute and New Era will round out the collection, as well as a roll-on fragrance by skincare brand Lepaar.

Beyond the brand’s flagship Sydney store, the collection will be available at over 65 stockists worldwide, including Dover Street Market, Barneys New York, SSENSE, Selfridges, Harrods, Kashiyama Daikanyama, Browns London, Opening Ceremony, Lane Crawford, and Leclaireur.

There’s no confirmation on a release date just yet, but we’ll be keeping an eye out.
