New faces, same message.

Sportsgirl is expanding its Be That Girl campaign, with six new faces joining the team.

The movement is all about empowering girls and women by giving a platform to inspiring young Australians.

New additions include diversity advocate Mahalia Handley, author of Eggshell Skull Bri Lee, NSW Young Australian of the Year Macinley Butson, women’s education advocate Cindy Wang, actress and advocate Mavournee Hazel, and creator of TV series The Housemate Gemma Bird Matheson.

The fresh faces feature in a series of short films, discussing what it really means to ‘be that girl’.

Each unscripted video tackles a different subject, including life, love and self.

Through the movement, Sportsgirl aims to remind girls everywhere of their own importance, and that it’s possible to turn their obstacles into triumphs.
