The best night for street style.
On Tuesday night, Melbourne’s vibrant fashion crowd got dressed for one of the most anticipated events on the PayPay Melbourne Fashion Festival program: the National Graduate Showcase x Emporium Melbourne. The runway featured the work of 12 top Australian design graduates, selected by a panel of judges for the special showcase.
More than a runway, the evening was a glimpse into the future of Australian fashion. We were proud to be the supporting partner for an event that can only be described as a stimulation overload, with boundary-pushing collections, performance art moments, and the kind of drama one can only expect from a student runway.

Outside the Royal Exhibition Building, the looks from the crowd lived up to the hype. We saw trinkets and ties, bonnets and baggy denim, splashes of colour and plenty of black. FJ photographer Lekhena Porter was there capturing the best street style on film.
