Featuring shoebox rooms, staff with attitude and zero sleep.

A hotel with a one-star rating does not usually bode as a good omen.

Turning this idea on its head, Converse has popped up in London’s Shoreditch to present a hotel that provides a spin on five-star establishments.

And the brand has tapped some big names in streetwear and music to deliver the experience. Manning the front desk is 15-year-old streetwear wunderkind Leo Mandella, with hotel rooms curated by Converse collaborators including A$AP Nast, Yung Lean, MadeMe and Tizzy T.

Spread over five interactive floors, hotel guests can also gain access to new and re-released versions of Converse’s most in-demand styles.

During the day, punters can take part in t-shirt screen printing with Paria Farzaneh, a London Fashion Week collection presentation from designer Mimi Wade, and an entire day presented by London youth collective, The Basement.

At night, expect performance from acts including Princess Nokia, IAMDDB, Slowthai, HYUKOH, Siobhan Bell, Bossy Ldn Skinny Macho and more.
