Shade Files makes it easier to find the sunnies you actually want

After breaking a pair of his boyfriend’s sunnies, Bryce Calleia was frustrated at having to mine through generic brands to find the perfect pair to replace them.

Instead, he decided to create his own solution to the problem. He launched a multi-brand sunglasses platform that champions independent brands and dubbed it Shade Files.

The online store stocks a selection of local designs from within Australia and around the world, making it easier to find a variety of unique frames all in one place.

Featuring eyewear from Australia’s ONKLER and POMS, Sunbuddies from Sweden, and Monokel Eyewear from the UK, each brand has its own personality and aesthetic.

While currently operating only as an online store, Shade Files has plans to give customers ample opportunity for try-ons, with shopping nights, showrooms by appointment, and pop-up kiosks in the works.

For now, the platform offers free delivery on all Australian orders, and an easy returns policy.
