Virgil Abloh launches a jewellery line modelled after the humble paper clip

Virgil Abloh is adding to his list of creative endeavours, launching a namesake jewellery line that’s centred around the humble paper clip.
Abloh took to Instagram yesterday to share the news, posting images of a recycled paper clip box and a paper clip chain – a peek at what we can expect from the collection. The simple paper clip design will extend across necklaces, earrings and accessories, as part of the designer’s ‘high jewellery’ campaign.
After three years in the making, WWD reports that the release is set to arrive at Abloh’s Floral Shop pop-up in Paris, running from January 17 until January 29.
While a trip to France may not be on the cards, we suggest fashioning something similar from supplies around the office.
