Calling all of our beloved readers.
We want to celebrate all the beautifully diverse readers in our community who make Fashion Journal what we are. We want to hear your stories, about your relationship with fashion and how you choose to get dressed every morning.
So we’re making it happen. In partnership with Medley Jewellery, we’re scouting three of our readers to feature in an upcoming Fashion Journal article centred on the theme ‘Worn for Nobody’.
We want to find out what you wear when you dress for nobody but you. Because if you feel good in it (whatever ‘it’ may be) it shows. It might be hair slicked back with layered chains and a breezy, oversized shirt; top-to-toe activewear with a pair of snuggie gold hoops; or your trusty childhood pyjamas and those rings you never take off.
Medley is designed to harness the power of you at your best, so we want to see what that looks like for you. Your stories will highlight the diversity, uniqueness and creativity of all our readers. Hopefully, you’ll also inspire our other readers to dress however they want.
To enter, it’s simple. You can either enter your details below or, if you’re feeling a little more adventurous, you can get creative. Style an outfit for nobody but yourself, then share a selfie to Instagram post or stories with the hashtag #wornfornobody, remembering to tag and follow @fashionjournalmagazine and @medleyjewellery. Go wild, mix metals, layer your armour however you want. We want to see you become a little more you. We’ll then ask for your email to get in touch, or you can submit this directly to us below.

The chosen winners will be sent Medley’s fine jewellery and feature in an FJ article telling their story. You’ll be able to choose up to $400 worth of the brand’s pieces, for you to style and keep. Winners will also be compensated for their time.
The competition ends Sunday December 6 at 11:59pm AEDT and anyone around Australia can enter. Good luck!
