What people wore to the launch of the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival

WORDS BY DAISY HENRY

Who wore what.

We love fashion events as much for the spectacle as we do for the people-watching. Seeing how attendees style themselves is endlessly inspiring, offering a glimpse into their creativity and personality. Plus, it’s often the best way to discover new designers.

Arguably, one of the very best places to do this is at the official launch of the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival (PMFF). On Friday, February 13, designers, stylists, media and fashion people from all walks convened at the Governor’s House. And you’d better believe the fashion was a feast for the eyes.

From whimsical Wuthering Heights-esque sets championing emerging designers, to colourful and thrifted ensembles, Melbourne’s fashion crowd dished up some of their best. In between champagne and our own photo moment, we captured some of our favourite looks of the night.
