Top to toes.

You’ve got a date, work event, birthday party or music festival coming up. Whatever the occasion may be, we know many of you are whipping out your ‘everything’ beauty regimes pre-event.

From remembering to take an all-encompassing vitamin, like Swisse Beauty’s Multivitamin Beauty Complex (which includes ingredients like marine collagen, hyaluronic acid and 13 essential vitamins), to getting your nails done or shaving every inch of your body – everyone does it differently. But we all have the same goal in mind: to feel our very best.

We like nosy people. Don’t be shy, head to our Beauty section for more.

To help me feel like I can put my best foot forward, I love incorporating a brightening face peel paired with a nourishing overnight mask into my skincare regime. Deep washing and actually blow drying my hair, exfoliating my entire body and cleaning up my nails pre-event is a must for me.

The morning of, I take my regular vitamins with plenty of H20, while icing my face to reduce inflammation and puffiness, before I go in with my extended makeup routine. Between my regular shower, skin and hair routine, these additions typically get me perked up and excited for whatever occasion is coming.

Although I feel like I have my ‘everything’ routine down pat, I asked some of my favourite creatives what their comprehensive beauty routines include. It can’t hurt feeling (or looking) even better, right?

I start my beauty routine with an exfoliating hair scrub. I can sometimes get a bit dandruffy (no shame here) and the mask helps clear any yucky gunk. Also, before showering, I’ll go over my body using a dry body brush, with long brushstrokes towards the heart.

When I’m in the shower, I wash my hair by shampooing twice and conditioning once. From there, I wash my body and shave anything that needs shaving. Typically, I’ll shave my armpits and below the knees (above the knees if I’m going on a date). At the very end of the shower, I’ll wash my face using a gentle, hydrating cleanser.

After showering, I leave my hair wrapped in a towel while I do my skincare routine. I start by using my palms to pat a few drops of lightweight face oil into my face and my pinkies to apply hydrating eye cream.

Then, I use a stainless steel gua sha tool to massage my face and follow with a thick, buttery moisturiser combined with some bronzing drops. The final and most crucial step of my face routine is putting on sunscreen. Once this is done, I take the towel off my head so my hair is still damp. I apply a few drops of hair oil to the ends and lengths, brushing through with a detangling brush. Then I let it air dry so the ends are wavy and relaxed.

The first thing I do is scrape my tongue (it removes the bacteria build-up and helps with my breath and oral hygiene) and then I’ll brush my teeth. Post-shower, I depuff with my ice roller that’s kept in the freezer overnight. It has an aluminium roller, so it stays cold for longer.

Then I have my green drink! It’s a powder that has prebiotics, probiotics, vitamins and minerals mixed with water, so I make sure that’s the first thing I ingest.

After, it’s time for my skincare routine. The products can vary depending on what I’m trialling but it usually includes an essence, vitamin C serum, moisturiser and SPF. If it’s an ‘everything’ day, I’ll add in an exfoliator and a clay mask for congested areas, and a hydrating mask, followed by my LED mask.

In the mornings I always take a supplement powder with prebiotics, probiotics, vitamins and minerals. In the evenings, I try to set up a good night’s rest with vitamins and herbals that promote skin renewal, like those found in Swisse Beauty’s Retinol & Beauty Sleep Booster.

I live and breathe my beauty routine. It’s my morning ‘me time’. I have a 10-step morning ritual I haven’t missed a day of in over two years! I always start by using my NuFace tool; I hold a lot of tension in my face, so I never skip this. I proceed to double cleanse (oil and gel), tone, chuck a couple of serums on, moisturise and use a hydrating eye cream. I always finish my routine off with a five-minute gua sha massage on my face. This routine honestly sets me up for a positive, productive and stress-free day!

I actually take vitamin C and collagen tablets already, but it’s a little bit tricky as it’s around four capsules to swallow, whereas Swisse Beauty’s Multivitamin Beauty Complex is just two!

I start by massaging Mielle Rosemary Mint Scalp & Hair Strengthening Oil on my scalp and leaving it on all day. I wash it out at night with a scalp scrub and Bondi Boost’s Shampoo and Conditioner. At night I cleanse with an oil cleanser followed by a foam cleanser. Then I use the NuFace Mini Facial Toner to lift and sculpt my face, especially around my eye area.

Finally, I’ll apply The Secret Skincare Cellular Repair Night Cream to target my pigmentation. In the morning I use ice in my contour cube, then go in with face oil and a quick gua sha, before finishing off with my Mecca To Save Face Sunscreen.

Strap in! My ‘everything’ routine looks like a pre-wash hair mask that I leave in for one to two hours. In the shower, I use a scalp scrub, shampoo and conditioner. I also scrub my whole body and double cleanse my face with a cleansing oil and gel cleanser.

Phew. Okay, now that we’re out of the shower, I slather my body in a lotion while I apply my face prep serum, retinol serum, eye cream and face cream. You think I’m done? Oh, no – now I need to whiten my teeth. Now we’re done!
