A dog recreating iconic Madonna photos is the best thing you’ll see this week

Of all the things you’ll see today, this will undoubtedly be the greatest.

Paris-based photographer Vincent Flouret has recently taken to recreating iconic Madonna photos – using his six-year-old golden retriever Max.

Like most dogs, Max is the perfect model. With the styling expertise of Vincent, the duo has recreated Madonna’s best album covers and music video scenes.

There’s the Like a Virgin album cover, ‘Material Girl’ and ‘Hung Up’ music videos, and even a Harper’s Bazaar cover. Max has left no stone unturned.

According to an interview with Bored Panda, the project took Max and Vincent eight months to complete. Vincent came up with the idea after volunteering at animal shelters in Los Angeles, where he was taking portraits of dogs to help get them adopted.

Seeing as the ‘Maxdonna’ project has been such a success, Vincent is currently hosting an exhibition in France where prints are available for purchase.

Proceeds from each print sold will be donated to Madonna’s charity Raising Malawi, which supports orphans and vulnerable children.
