Wine and cheese night just got a lot classier.
Australian brand Pord has created a new way to serve drinks, fusing wine with local art.
Pord is a mini serving barrel that holds the equivalent of four bottles of wine. Each barrel is printed with one of three limited-edition artworks, transforming it from a simple storage container into a unique centrepiece.
The idea is to make art more accessible, bringing it into people’s homes where it can be displayed, reused and repurposed.
For its launch, Pord has worked with three female artists – Filippa Edghill, Hannah Nowlan and Evi O.
Each design is available in a super limited run and comes with a hand signed and numbered certificate of authenticity from the artist.
Don’t worry, you get to pick your wine, too. Every Pord comes filled with your choice of pinot grigio, shiraz or rosé from Mitchelton winery in Victoria.
