A Frida Kahlo exhibition is coming to Bendigo Art Gallery

Bendigo Art Gallery is set to host an exclusive Frida Kahlo exhibition this summer, dedicated to the life and work of the beloved artist.
Frida Kahlo, her photos draws from the extensive archive of Frida Kahlo’s former home, Casa Azul. It will feature 257 images from the Casa Azul archive, curated by Mexican photographer Pablo Ortiz Monasterio.
Visitors can expect photographs and images encompassing Frida’s family, her friends and enemies, political opinions and love for Mexico and its traditions. Also included are several photographs from her long hospital stay in 1925.
Frida Kahlo, her photos will run from December.
