Live like a local.
Everybody has fantasised about getting paid to travel and eat beautiful food at some point.
Airbnb is now offering to send four people to the rural Italian town of Grottole for three months to learn how to live like a local.
They’ll participate in cooking and culture classes taught by locals, including lessons in speaking Italian, growing produce, making pasta and beekeeping.
There’s also plenty of time to see the town’s sites (including a 10th-century castle) while volunteering with Wonder Grottole, an organisation working to revitalise the town.
After a few weeks learning the ropes, the four newcomers will become Airbnb co-hosts and show other travellers around the town.
All experiences and living expenses will be covered by Airbnb.
If this sounds like the job for you, you can submit an application here. Entries close February 17, so don’t miss your chance.
