Another ‘Riverdale’ spinoff is on its way
Meet Katy.
The world seemingly can’t get enough of the bad-good tv that’s come out of the Archie Comics world, and it looks like we’re about to get a new series to sink our teeth into.
Following the success of Riverdale’s first spin-off, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has confirmed his new project will follow the Archie series’ Katy Keene.

The character – a model, actress and singer – first appeared in an issue of Wilber Comics 1945, before receiving her own title in 1949 which ran for 12 years.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new show will follow Katy and three other iconic Archie characters “chasing their twenty-something dreams in New York City”.
Details are pretty thin on the ground, but it is known that Aguirre-Sacasa will pen the script alongside Riverdale producer Michael Grassi.
