Byron Kennedy Hall has just unveiled its latest exhibition, Real Bodies: The Exhibition.
As it says on the tin, the exhibition is a collection of 20 real (YES REAL) perfectly preserved human bodies, along with 200 anatomical specimens.
Besides being kind of creepy, the idea is to educate visitors about the human anatomy and to explore what it means to be alive. Cadavers have been positioned in different poses to illustrate various bodily functions, and are accompanied by scientific explanations and philosophical questions.
The exhibition runs until October 1 at Byron Kennedy Hall in Sydney and one dollar from every ticket sold will be donated to the Australian Red Cross.
