Emporium Melbourne is hosting an interactive ‘Alice in Wonderland’ installation

Words by Maeve Kerr-Crowley

A very important date.

Wonderland fever is spreading, and Emporium Melbourne is joining in on the fun.

Partnering with ACMI and the Wonderland exhibition, Emporium has created an in-centre installation so you can have your very own Alice moment.

The Curiouser and Curiouser house, located on the ground floor, is an immersive optical illusion inspired by the iconic size-altering potion and cake. One half of the house will make you look small, and the other will make you look giant.

Snap a photo in the house and upload it with the tag #EmporiumWonderland and you could win a $500 Emporium voucher, plus a ticket to ACMI’s exhibition.

The activation is open now, and will finish on a high on May 18 with an Alice in Wonderland-themed Shop the City event.

Included in the event’s program is a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, featuring cookies by Vickiee Yo and Wonderland-inspired cocktails.
