Fiat’s new car looks suspiciously like a Barbie convertible

Looks familiar.

The Fiat 500 Spiaggina has received a makeover for its 60th birthday, and it looks suspiciously like a Barbie convertible.

Made in collaboration with Garage Italia and car designer Pininfarina, the updated Fiat arrives with a bunch of features that would make Barbie jealous.

The beach-ready convertible forgoes back seats in favour of a concealed sun deck, and even houses a built-in shower in the boot. Seriously, you cannot make this stuff up.

In a bid to reference a luxury yacht, the car also arrives in a summery blue hue complete with cork panelling.

If you want to achieve your childhood dreams by getting around in a Barbie convertible Fiat 500 Spiaggina, Garage Italia has promised it will be putting the model into production. However, there’s no word yet on how many models will be released, and for what price.

We’ll stick to the more affordable version.
