Got a spare $46,615?

You’ve probably seen Gucci’s signature motifs plastered all over belts, handbags and slides. And courtesy of its first décor range, you can now plaster the brand all over your home too.

Last July, the brand teased creative director Alessandro Michele’s new endeavour, which embodies the brand’s maximalist aesthetic.

Now that it’s landed online and is available to shop, be prepared for an extremely decadent collection that’s sure to destroy your life savings. While a scented candle will set you back $950, for a velvet three-panel room screen you’ll need to cough up over $46,000. No biggie.

You can expect homewares and furniture with embroidered prints and rich jewel tones, merging classic bygone-style furniture with current designs. One piece in particular – the capapitonné porter’s armchair – was inspired by the high-backed and canopy-covered chairs used in 16th-century France. All up, it took Tuscan artisans 92 hours to craft, which might explain the $8,460 price tag.
