I tried the world’s first air suction G-spot vibrator

WORDS BY Grace Baldwin

“The OG, when treated like the full-body experience it is, is the creator of a high-end orgasm.”

When the opportunity to review Womanizer’s new G-spot vibrator arose, I leapt at the opportunity. The very first sex toy I owned was from Womanizer, and I have never been disappointed by any of the brand’s products. From the Starlet to the Classic to the Duo, Womanizer has always had my back.

I’m a huge advocate for sex toys, for both vulva and penis owners. For people with vulvas, it allows them the opportunity to tune into their sexuality in a non-performative and stress-free space, often allowing the mind-blowing orgasms sometimes inaccessible in partnered sex.

This is exactly what’s promised by the new Womanizer OG, the world’s first G-spot vibrator with pleasure air technology. Essentially, it offers the brand’s signature suction magic, seen in toys like the Classic, but for internal use. The OG targets the G-spot using gentle vibrations and suction, giving an unexpected new type of orgasm.

But what makes this toy special, you ask? It’s the only toy on the market that offers pleasure air technology in an internal toy. The OG has been developed over years, and its research has expanded the knowledge of the clitoris and female pleasure.

Aesthetically, it’s made of soft, body-safe silicone, and has a gentle curve to best reach the internal clitoris (colloquially called the G-spot). It has 12 intensity and three vibration levels, made to stimulate the G-spot with both pleasure air and classic vibration. It’s also waterproof, so a cheeky shower session is definitely on the cards with the OG.

Two of my favourite features of the OG are its ‘smart silence’ technology (meaning it turns off when not in contact with skin), and its ‘afterglow’ function. Smart silence is great for a more discreet self-pleasure session, but also when used in partner play. You can put it to the side and pick it back up whenever, without having to worry about fumbling with buttons and ruining the mood.

The afterglow function is amazing because once you’ve climaxed, you can hit the minus button and dial back the intensity straight away, helping prevent overstimulation. I can’t be the only one who’s had a jump scare from vibrator intensity after an orgasm.

My experience

The first time I used the OG, it all felt very familiar and sexy. I am a big fan of Wominzer’s pleasure air technology, so using the OG externally to get warmed up was very much in my comfort zone. However, I stopped using it externally right before I was about to orgasm and got ready to use it internally. Along with my passion for vibrators, I’m also a big lube advocate (it just makes everything better, no one can change my mind).

So I lubed up the OG and tried it out. It’s safe to say I’ve never felt anything like it. I tried switching between the intensity settings – finding that a combination of stronger pleasure air and weaker vibration was the sweet spot for me. The beauty of the OG is there’s enough variability for anyone to find a winning combination.

Using G-spot vibrators also encourages the user to take things slowly. Many vulva owners can get themselves to the finish line relatively quickly with an external vibrator or clit suction – what I call a ‘cheap’ orgasm. Don’t get me wrong – there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, but there will always be a difference between an internal and external orgasm.

I discovered that the OG, when treated like the full-body experience it is, is the creator of a high-end orgasm. The slower build-up of the OG also amounts to a more intense feeling. I’d suggest it to start out with if you’re unsure or hesitant about buying your first sex toy.

It’s the best of both worlds – top-quality internal and external stimulation, and can be used solo or with a partner. In order to get the most out of my new go-to toy, I spoke to Sex and Relationships Expert and Womanizer Sexpert, Christine Rafe, for some tips and tricks.

How should I start using the OG?

As I usually recommend for any sex toy, start on your own so you’re not up in your head about it. Explore what feels good on your own, because it’s often nice to have space to explore your body yourself and not feel the pressure of someone wanting you to orgasm straight away.

The key for any air suction technology is to warm up first, so do whatever your preference is to get in the mood. Maybe you might like to take a warm shower and fantasise a bit, or you might rub your genitals – anything that will get blood circulating in the area. You can use it externally first because the suction and pleasure air is basically the same as in other Womanizer products. Get nice and warmed up before thinking about using it internally.

Start it on a low setting and test out what feels good. Because this is a new type of stimulation for the G-spot, starting low is a good call… play around with it in different locations, you can turn it and twist it so that the suction is on different parts of the clitoris; the internal clitoris has different spots that all feel good. Basically, locate your pleasure points and test out what feels good.

Can I use it with a partner?

Absolutely. As always, communicating with a partner and making sure there’s consent is key to using a pleasure product or a toy. You might ask “How do you feel about this?”, or “I’d love to use [this toy], or for you to use it on me”. It also doesn’t have to be used just on vulva owners, which is why it’s so great.

It can be used on the nipples, the testes, or the perineum. It’s not safe for anal insertion, but it can definitely be used externally for pleasure purposes. If you are going to be using it on the anus, you just need to make sure it’s properly cleaned in between using it on the vulva or clitoris and the anus.

What if I don’t orgasm from it the first time?

That’s completely fine, even to be expected. Because this toy is a world-first type of stimulation… it’s important to bear in mind that when exploring anything new, we might not experience a movie-like, mindblowing orgasm the first time. It doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t ever happen, but you need to allow yourself and your body to adjust to something new and lovely.
