Get Hairy this February to fight back against domestic violence

Get Hairy February is back for its second year in 2018, encouraging women to let their body hair grow in a bid to end domestic violence.

The campaign aims to challenge traditional beauty expectations, all while raising much-needed funds for the Full Stop Foundation. 2018 will also see funds being donated to Empower Together, an organisation teaching high school students about consent.

According to SMH, 450 women participated last year, raising over $40,000 for the Full Stop Foundation.

You can take part all throughout February, by skipping your usual shaving routine for one month. While we’re already two days in, anyone is welcome to join by signing up here.
