The IKEA x Off-White collaboration is finally coming to Australia

Words by Maeve Kerr-Crowley

We’ve been waiting two years for this.

Remember, back in the long-forgotten year of 2017, when IKEA announced its collaboration with Off-White?

Two years later, the MARKERAD range is finally dropping in-store, with the understandable prediction that it won’t be there for long.

The super limited collection features 15 pieces designed by Virgil Abloh, ranging from a day bed, chair and table, down to a toolbox and wall clock.

In the vein of the duo’s “KEEP OFF” rug, which saw such high demand it had to be sold by ballot, the drop also features two new floor coverings. One is an astroturf inspired rug reading “WET GRASS”, while the other looks like a giant IKEA receipt.

You’ll also find the very Off-White interpretation of IKEA’s iconic FRAKTA carry bags.

MARKERAD will be available in-store only from November 7, and is expected to sell out fast. Purchases will be limited to one of each article within the collection per customer.
