Lena Dunham returns to TV with new series ‘Camping’

Lena Dunham is set to make her return to TV with Camping, a series based on a British TV show of the same name.

Written in collaboration with Jenni Konner – the co-writer of Girls – the story follows a married couple as they embark on a ‘meticulously planned’ camping trip.

Kathryn (played by Jennifer Garner) has planned the trip for her husband’s 45^th birthday, inviting a mix of old and new friends. If the trailer is anything to go by, the trip looks awful.

The new series is the first for Dunham and Konner since Girls ended in 2017. It features eight episodes, and is set to premiere on HBO October 14.
