In great news for Stranger Things fans, the Netflix Original is set to get a series of prequels.
First reported by Deadline, Netflix has teamed up with Penguin Random House and Del Rey Books to release several books based on the show.
According to the site, two titles will arrive this year – a behind-the-scenes companion titled Stranger Things: World Turned Upside Down and a hardcover gift book for young readers which will offer “advice, wisdom, and warnings from the Stranger Things world.”
But it’s the releases set to follow that have really piqued our interest. A prequel novel about Eleven’s mother and another about the MKUltra program written by Gwenda Bond are both set to arrive in 2019. More titles for adults and young readers will also be unveiled toward the end of 2019.
