Guys, Pantone just released an app and you’ll be distracted for the rest of the day

The Pantone addiction continues.

Pantone is yet again giving us life, thanks to its latest foray into the digital world.

The colour company has launched a new app, Pantone Studio, which puts Pantone’s library of over 10,000 shades in your pocket.

The app allows users to create customised mood boards and palettes by taking your photos and turning them into Pantone colours (basically transforming your phone into Photoshop’s eyedropper tool).

Once you’ve got your palette ready, you can then compare colours across a variety of textures and scenarios.

The app will also include colour trend forecasting (Pantone’s first forecasting service offered digitally).

And because Pantone doesn’t do anything by halves, the app was created with the influence of a huge 2000 designers.

It’s available today for iOS, Android and Windows with basic app exploration and sharing free of charge.

If you want to get the full Pantone experience however, there’s a monthly subscription fee of $7.99 per month or $59.99 per year (take our money already).
