The Australian Ballet presents Giselle

A hauntingly beautiful depiction of madness, supernatural forces and redemptive love

The Australian Ballet is returning this year with Maina Gielgud’s acclaimed production of Giselle. Since its premiere in 1841, the hauntingly beautiful ballet has met consistent international success and acclaim.

It follows the story of a village girl who falls in love with a man who is not all he seems. Upon discoviering his deception she dies of a broken heart. Yet resigned to wander a wood haunted by the ghosts of jilted women, her spirit continues to fight for her love.

If that doesn’t sound captivating enough, then surely the prospect of toned men in tights does?
