The Finders Keepers has released an app to help you navigate its markets

And it’s free!

Back for round two, The Finders Keepers market has teamed up with tech group, Beaconmaker, to develop a free app. It’s set to help shoppers easily navigate their way through the markets.

Established in 2008 by founders Sarah Thornton and Brooke Johnston, The Finders Keepers showcases the work of independent artists and designers across Australia.

The app’s development comes on the back of a trial from last December, after receiving positive feedback from shoppers and stallholders.

Communications Manager, Angela D’Alton, says having a map and planner for shoppers is a huge benefit for the market, which attracts tens of thousands of visitors at each event.

“It’s very Important to provide innovative ways for our visitors to find what they’re looking for at our events,” she said.

The app, which can be downloaded from the App Store, features a full directory of participating stallholders at each event. Shoppers can view stallholder profiles, which can be ‘favourited’ and added to a personal itinerary and interactive map.

Held twice a year across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and annually in Adelaide, over 1,200 stalls are supported each year where shoppers can experience a mix of art, design, food and live music.

The 2016 Autumn/Winter Finders Keepers Market is scheduled over the next couple of months, with Sydney the first to kick off.

Dates and times can be viewed on the Finders Keepers website and you can download the app here.
