Looks like ‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’ is getting a sequel

More. Peter. Kavinsky.

Just days after the cast expressed they were down for making a sequel, it looks like To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before is, in fact, getting film number two.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, it has confirmed the film will be one of the first to get the green light following a new partnership between Netflix and Paramount.

In a statement to Teen Vogue, Netflix stated the film’s production was still in discussion and would not give the official word at this stage. It does, however, look like the first film’s director, Susan Johnson, is also on board after she shared a (since-deleted) Instagram post thanking fans.

As for the storyline, we can only assume it’ll continue to follow on from Jenny Han’s series. Some of the plotline from the second book, P.S. I Still Love you, was covered off in the first film (we’re sure you remember that hot tub drama), so we can expect the story to pick up part-way through. Given a short in the mid-credits, it looks like it might cover the re-entry of former flame, John Ambrose McClaren (from Model UN), in Lara Jean’s life.

Can’t wait.
