All 19 of them.

Disney is spitting out live-action remakes left, right and centre, and it can get overwhelming trying to keep up.

To help you out, we’ve gathered all the info we can find about all the classic animated films set for updates in the next few years.

Dumbo

The next Disney film to hit cinemas will be the tale of everyone’s favourite flying elephant. The remake will be directed by Tim Burton and packed with stars like Colin Farrell, Eva Green, Danny Devito and Michael Keaton. Check out the trailer here.
Expected release: March 29, 2019.

Aladdin

The highly-talked about Aladdin remake is set for release next year, starring Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine, Marwan Kenzari as Jafar and Will Smith as Genie. You can watch the moody teaser trailer here.
Expected release: May 24, 2019

The Lion King

We’re all well aware that a live action Lion King is in the works – largely because it stars Beyoncé and Donald Glover. But the excellent official trailer dropped just last week, so it’s worth getting excited about all over again.
Expected release: July 19, 2019

Lady and the Tramp

This one won’t be getting a cinematic release, but the story of puppy love starring Justin Theroux, Tessa Thompson and Janelle Monae will be available on Disney’s specialised streaming service when it launches next year.
Expected release: 2019

The Sword in the Stone

Another film set to debut via streaming service, the tale of young King Arthur will be directed by 28 Weeks Later’s Juan Carlos Fresnadillo.
Expected release: 2019

Mulan

Disney is changing up the plot a bit with its live-action remake of Mulan, – there’ll be no heartthrob Li Shang, less singing and a new female villain. Filming has already started in China and New Zealand, so hopefully a trailer isn’t too far away.
Expected release: March 27, 2020

Maleficent II

Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning will both return for the sequel to Maleficent, which started filming earlier this year.
Expected release: May 29, 2020

Snow White

Details are slim on the remake of Disney’s first animated film. But what we do know is that the music will be written by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the team behind the soundtracks for The Greatest Showman and La La Land.
Expected release: TBC

Cruella

Emma Stone is set to star as iconic villain Cruella de Vil in this 101 Dalmations origin story set in the ’80s.
Expected release: TBC

Prince Charming

No, we don’t know which Prince Charming this revisionist tale will focus on. We do know, however, that it’ll be directed by Stephen Chbosky, and will be told from the perspective of Charming’s underappreciated brother.
Expected release: TBC

The Little Mermaid

Despite Netflix taking on its own live-action version this yearDisney will also be reinvigorating the classic. The only thing we know so far is that Lin Manuel Miranda will be teaming up with Alan Menken (who wrote the score for the original Little Mermaid) for the film’s epic soundtrack.
Expected release: TBC

Peter Pan

There have been plenty of films made about Peter Pan and Neverland, but director David Lowery promises this live-action update of Disney’s 1953 animation will tell the story a little differently.
Expected release: TBC

Pinocchio

All we know so far about Disney’s remake of Pinnochio is that it will be directed by Paddington’s Paul King.
Expected release: TBC

James and the Giant Peach

Yes, there’s already been a James and the Giant Peach film featuring live-action elements, but apparently, there’s another one on its way.
Expected release: TBC

Lilo and Stitch

The team behind the Aladdin remake are also on board to update Lilo & Stitch, and we’re both scared and curious to see what a CGI Stitch looks like.
Expected release: TBC

The Jungle Book 2

The 2016 remake of The Jungle Book is also set to get a sequel, with director Jon Favreau back at the helm.
Expected release: TBC

Tink

Reese Witherspoon signed on to produce and star in Tinkerbell’s origin story back in 2015, so hopefully the film becomes a reality in the near future.
Expected release: TBC

Genies

Apparently, nobody can get enough of Aladdin because there’s also a prequel in the works. It’s set to focus on the film’s loudest and most lovable character, the Genie.
Expected release: TBC

Night on Bald Mountain

For a less conventional remake, Disney is transforming a scene from Fantasia into its own feature-length film. The sequence revolves around a demonic gargoyle named Chernaborg, who will presumably be the star of the live action movie.
