The colour overlords have spoken.

In very big news, Pantone has announced its Color of the Year for 2019. Sayonara Ultra Violet, we’re about to replace all our belongings in the shade of ‘Living Coral’.

The “life-affirming coral hue” was picked in reaction to the onslaught of the digital world, with Pantone citing a need for authentic and immersive experiences in our lives. With its golden undertone and organic nature, it’s believed this is a shade that energises and promotes connection.

“Representing the fusion of modern life, PANTONE Living Coral is a nurturing color that appears in our natural surroundings and at the same time, displays a lively presence within social media,” reads a statement from the Color Institute.

Get around it, guys.
