Friends furever.

If you’ve been negotiating with your housemates to get a canine or feline playmate, the RSPCA may just get you across the line. This weekend, you can give a lonely buddy a new home for only $29, including microchipping, desexing, vaccinations, vet checks and worming.

Although the idea of a ‘clear-out sale’ for a living creature might be a bit weird, it’s all for a good cause. The RSPCA is on a mission to find loving homes for some pretty cute pals with its Clear the Shelters adoption drive.

On average, 100 pets are taken in by the RSPCA every day, so there’s a lot of animals waiting for a furever home.

RSPCA’s Clear the Shelters adoption drive runs from Friday February 23 to Sunday February 25, across shelters in all states except WA and Tassie. Start planning your best friend’s arrival here.
