Taylor Swift is going to star in a ‘Cats’ the musical film

The cat’s out of the bag.

As any one of the 110 million people who follow Taylor Swift on Instagram will know, she loves her cats.

And to take her feline obsession to the next level, she’s gone and bagged herself a role playing one. According to Hollywood Reporter, a film adaptation of Cats the musical is underway and will star Swift – as flirtatious red cat Bombalurina – alongside Jennifer Hudson, James Corden and Ian McKellen.

Filming is said to take place later this year in the UK, with more of the cast set to be announced soon.

Purrsonally, we can’t wait to see Tay-Tay living her best cat life.
