This online personality quiz that matches you with a TV character is eerily accurate

WORDS BY MAGGIE ZHOU

Choose your fictional fighter.

I’m no stranger to a cheeky Buzzfeed quiz or a good Myers-Briggs personality test. I’ve braved the waters and found out what my Bon Iver name would be and which melancholy vegetable matches my personality (the pensive broccoli, by the way).

But the latest quiz to shake up the Internet is not messing around. Void of any flashy graphics, the quiz is hosted on a website titled ‘Open-Source Psychometrics Project’. Serious business indeed.

Complete with dot graphs and sliding spectrums, it’s proved scarily accurate for many users. The assessment will size you up against over 500 characters from various fictional TV shows and movies. Expect universes like Friends, Marvel, Game of Thrones, The Office, Sex and the City and Harry Potter.

All you need to do is compare pairs of adjectives and adjust the percentages to match up with how you see yourself. The recommended 28 questions should take you around two minutes and the results are based on other people’s ratings of the characters, making it more precise than the average quiz.

The hardest part is coming to terms with your destined counterpart (Emma Stone’s character in Superbad, seriously?) and admitting that you need to brush up on your knowledge of TV shows. My fifth match was the first character I knew – Toy Story’s very own Bo Peep.

But I’ll have you know that I also channel Rachel from Friends and Carrie Bradshaw. Sorry, but the quiz said it.
