An industry first.

In a landmark move, Tiffany & Co. will now disclose the origin of its diamonds. The change is set to bring a new wave of transparency to the diamond supply chain.

Effective today, jewels above 0.18 carats will have their individual origin readily available in Tiffany stores, providing customers with 100 per cent geographical transparency.

The luxury jeweller believes this is an important step in ensuring its diamonds are among the most responsibly sourced in the world, pledging not to source any diamonds with unknown provenance.

Not only that, the brand has also committed to disclosing the entire journey of the diamond by 2020 – including craftmanship details like cut and polish workshop locations.
