DJ Khaled has launched a furniture line, and it’s likely the most extravagant furniture collection you’ll see in your life.
Aptly titled We the Best Home, the line draws inspiration from some of the producer’s greatest catchphrases. Think along the lines of key-shaped beds, gold lion statues and pieces ‘inspired by success’. Perfect for the minimalists among us.
The first release is split up into five collections: Baller, Major Key, Iconic, Lion and No They. Each has its own ‘aesthetic’, ranging from ‘essentials’ to ‘gold’ and pieces inspired by the ‘apex predator’. Yes, really.
Signature designs include a $2,500 throne, a gold chesterfield couch and a vanity covered entirely in red crocodile skin, which I have a few problems with.
It was all created in collaboration with Goldition, a collective of designers that work with celebrities to launch exclusive products.
And according to Khaled, this is why it all came about:
God forgive whoever told DJ Khaled he couldn’t have a couch. You did this.
