Electro artist Lucianblomkamp releases dark single ‘SD’

Words by Jasmine Wallis

Lucianblomkamp has had a busy year.

After producing a number of songs for artists including Mallrat, Teischa and 6LACK – for which he was nominated for an APRA song of the year – Lucianblomkamp has released the third single off his upcoming EP.

‘SD’ is a gritty electronic dance track that follows suit from his earlier singles, ‘Come To Light’ and ‘Sound Of The Morning’.

With influences including Nine Inch Nails and The Presets, the single is an example of the artist’s mixture of electronic production and his classical training.

The accompanying music video follows Lucianblomkamp running through a dark forest, adding to the incredibly eery vibes of the song.

Off the back of this latest release, he’s also playing alongside other influential electronic artists, Kllo, Lonelyspeck and Baths at the Melbourne Music Week hub on November 19th.

In the meantime, you can listen to ‘SD’ here.
