Hanson, Cat Power and Client Liaison lead Melbourne Zoo Twilights’ 2019 lineup

Words by Kate Streader

Summer nights done right.

Melbourne Zoo’s annual summer concert series, Zoo Twilights, is set to return early next year. And following the recent announcement that Cat Power will be taking the stage for the series, we’ve been gifted the full lineup at last.

Taking the stage on the zoo’s lush lawns, Melbourne’s own Client Liaison will kick off the series with the help of Kira Puru, followed by a rare triple bill of Aussie greats including Briggs, Archie Roach and Alice Sky who will be performing on January 26 in what will no doubt be a momentous means of reclaiming the day.

You can also catch Sampa The Great and Remi supported by Thando, Daryl Braithwaite and Ross Wilson, Vera Blue supported by Kesmar, The Cat Empire supported by The Meltdown, Aloe Blacc with support from Kaiit, Rufus Wainwright with Mojo Juju on support, Hanson and special guests, The Internet with special guests, and Marlon Williams with support from Laura Jean. A special act yet to be announced will close out the series.
