ALPINE release Foolish for April Fool’s Day

We’re foolishly attracted to it.

Melbourne band, ALPINE, have dropped a big music bomb for April Fool’s Day.

1. They’ve got a new single and it’s called ‘Foolish’.

2. They’ve announced a new album called Yuck, and it’s due for release on June 12.

3. The ‘Foolish’ video has also dropped and it is a fantastical journey into a world filled with CGI animals and cute Alice McCall outfits.

The track is playful, glittery and we’re obviously loving it. While the album musically explores the pop genre, lyrically it covers their “yuck” reactions to First World problems, including “awkward dates, a distaste for romance, lust when lust was lost, plastic vanity, foolish attraction and ego against egos.”

What a clever concept. The album is available for pre-order digitally, on CD, and a deluxe vinyl with a freebie tote bag. Watch the video below.
