At only 17 years of age producer/singer and classically trained instrumentalist Olivia McCarthy’s career is moving pretty quickly. McCarthy, under the project JOY., won Triple J Unearthed’s 2015 Laneway Competition and scored herself a slot on the Brisbane Leg. She has also just been announced as the support of Tkay Maidza’s East Coast Tour with UV Boi.

JOY.’s latest single from her much hyped EP is ‘Weather’, a pop-synth track with intense feeling. The accompanying video (which FJ is premiering) is highly emotive and captures the tale of a broken home.
