Spotify will now allow you to block artists from your library

Well overdue.
Spotify is introducing a feature that will allow you to block certain artists you don’t want to support.
According to reports, iOS and Android users will now be able to see a ‘Don’t play this artist’ button on a musician’s homepage, giving them the power to block any artist from curated playlists, charts, radios and everything else.
However, it won’t block tracks an artist has featured on. You’ll also have the option to go back and unblock if you have a change of heart.
It’s a surprising move from Spotify, considering the streaming service decided against the block feature back in 2017.
To access the feature, click the three dots on an artist’s home page and select ‘Don’t play this artist’.
