Alicia Keys will host this year’s Grammy Awards

Following on from James Corden, Alicia Keys has announced that she’ll be taking care of hosting duties at this year’s Grammys.

The news was shared in a 10-minute video, in which Keys is captured telling her mother, husband and children.

“I know what it feels like to be on that stage, and I’m going to bring that vibe and energy,” Keys said. “I’m so excited to be the master of ceremonies on the biggest night in music and celebrate the creativity, power and magic. I’m especially excited for all the incredible women nominated this year!”

The 61st Grammy Awards will take place on February 1, with Cardi B, Janelle Monáe and Kacey Musgraves nominated for Album of the Year.
