First look: World Champion drops video for ‘Skyline’ ahead of a new EP release

Things are getting weird.

Sydney trio World Champion is blessing us with a new EP this week, and we’ve got your first look at a fresh single to go along with it.

Having already dropped three songs in the last few months – ‘Gun’, ‘Callisto’ and the latest, ‘Nevermind’ – next up is the record’s title track ‘Skyline’.

Accompanying the single’s themes of daydreaming and hypnotising synth-pop sound is a weird and wonderful music video directed by Olivia Costa.

Witty, off-kilter visuals are used to play on the mundane nature of everyday life, painting routine as the gateway to boredom-induced insanity.
